One in three of all women and one in two of all men in Australia are diagnosed with cancer during their lifetime! Cancer affects just about everyone in some way. There is so much fear associated with Cancer that we refer to it as “The Big C”, that way we don’t have to say the word.
Caitanya das was diagnosed with Advanced Cancer 14 years ago and is still undergoing treatment today. He has received hormone therapy, 3 bouts of radiation treatment and is currently in his 3rd year of chemotherapy.
In this talk he describes the fear of being diagnosed with Cancer, and the impact that had on his life. He talks about how, through meditation, and by understanding the philosophy taught in the timeless scripture, The Bhagavat Gita, he not only conquered the fear of dying but discovered how to be truly happy!
